Now that the iPad has launched 2, we take a break from Apple tablet rumors to cover rumors about Apple smartphone. A new rumor is spread by Chinese smartphone share reseller iDealsChina posits that the next generation iPhone 5 not one but two SIM card load will have to support dual-SIM cards.
iDealsChina says that the feature iPhone 5 owners have two lines of the service will allow, and two numbers at the same time, that would be great for travelers who need access to a home SIM card in a home network and also a global roaming SIM work could, or for users who use the iPhone 5 and would like to have their work and personal lines on the same device.
The rumor presented by iDealsChina seems a bit questionable, though, and 9to5 Mac has chimed in with their own theory, suggesting that the iPhone 5 will a phone of the world sporting Qualcomm's Gobi chip, which will combine CDMA and GSM support in a singular design. This means that the iPhone 5 on Verizon's CDMA network or AT&T the GSM network in the States could be used, and also to a country using CDMA or GSM technologies can roam.
