Airplay Finally delivers on its promise on Apple TV-ZDNet (blog)

Back in November last year, Apple iOS 4.2. The release came together with support for Airplay on Apple TV and iPhone. Unfortunately, Airplay was only half-finished experience, yet not to allow streaming of your photos or even created videos on Apple TV.

Well, as in last week's start of iOS 4.3 and together with some much needed improvements to Airplay – must in particular, ability to play videos from the photos app! This includes camera Roll album, iTunes previews and enabled third-party apps and Web sites on your Apple TV. Basic Apple finally delivers the Airplay, which I expected at all times.

The other night I was at a friend's House. We see his Apple TV, so I decided to see if I could take over and start streaming from my iPhone. In the Camera Roll has sought, and then clicked the icon Airplay. Immediately, took my photo his tv screen. Next, I clicked on a video in the Camera Roll, and immediately began my video streaming on his tv.

As i mentioned in my previous article on the subject, is the function of Airplay one of the main reasons I bought the new Apple TV. Now that iOS 4.3 Finally delivers the experience Apple promised back in November, moved the Apple TV to my "strongly recommended" list. $ 99, you can Not beat the price for the functionality. Roku and others offer more features in what is arguably a cheaper quote, but if you have an iPhone, nothing compares the experience of wireless streaming your videos and photos to your TV by simply clicking a button on the screen.

UPDATE: It looks as if Apple makes it even easier for you to find Airplay-enabled apps. Click this link an ever expanding list.
