Despite Google going forward, say reports no NFC on iPhone 5-Appolicious

Google (GOOG) is gearing up to test his "near field communication" technology for its Mobile Android operating system in different cities, according to reports--and in the meantime, rumor has it that Apple (AAPL) the technology is not included in the iPhone 5.

Of course, these are both rumors. The first comes from a report, Bloomberg reported that Google is planning to test the technology in New York and San Francisco sometime in the next four months. To do, Google will install NFC technology in different shops and retailers in the cities, pay according to anonymous sources in the report.

In the vicinity of communication are "always on" signals by smart phones to nearby receivers, so that the phones for the exchange of information with the recipient to perform certain tasks. Google has the technology as a means of paying for goods and advertisers deliver to users who want to push. Imagine stepping out of a cash register and the cashier ringing up the items that you want to purchase, and your smartphone then completes the transaction with your credit card information without you even a card swipe. The tech involved NFC, and Google believes that the future of the trade. At least, is that what Google Chairman and CEO Eric Schmidt said at Mobile World Congress 2011 in Barcelona, Spain, last month.

And it's not just Google. According to a story from GigaOM works Verifone (PAY), a maker of credit card payment terminals (you've probably seen the blue terminals that you can click with certain cards to make transactions), about installing NFC recipients on all future new in-store payment terminals.

The problem with NFC recipients now is that they cost about $ 200 in existing payment terminals at merchant locations to install. VerifOne is that they are in all its new terminals, which will help to keep the cost down and standardize the NFC installation so the company won't have to deal with it in the existing machines. Suddenly, NFC technology could be in many stores across the country, the opening of the technology and giving consumers a lot of possible use of the new smartphone capacity.

But while Google and Verifone seem to think that there is something to this business NFC, Apple is a more cautious approach.

Rumor has it, the iPhone 5, which is supposed to hit the streets come June and had previously rumored to be able to NFC, actually not going to be equipped with the technology. That's the news according to a report by PC World and information of the UK's The Independent, which CITES unnamed wireless carriers who have said that the iPhone 5 NFC capabilities are not included.

According to the report, Apple is hesitant because there is not a clear industry standard for NFC implementation. Although we had previously heard that the iPhone would include 5 NFC technology, claiming The Independent that actually will still a year along the line, with the rollout of iPhone 6, before the NFC in iPhones.

But with Google deploying NFC in its Android phones and Verifone dissemination of technology for merchants throughout the country, one wonders if iPhone owners the possibility in six or eight months will miss. However, it is much more likely that by the time NFC is ready to go in the camp of Android, iPhone 6 will be an upcoming release and Apple is in step with the competition and the cutting edge.
