KUKA Robotics Corporation Displays Robotic solutions automate 2011-Montreal Gazette

KUKA robotics to demonstrate the innovative LWR lightweight robotic technology, in addition to an economically small footprint palletizing solution designed and of official KUKA system Partner automated movement Robotics, Inc. to automate 2011, thesolutions-based showcase of automation technologies in North America. Formerly the International Robots, vision & Motion Control Show, automate now shows the full spectrum of automation technologies and solutions for a wide range of industries.

KUKA Robotics will showcase the LWR 4 +, a lightweight robot with 7 axis, 7 kg payload capacity that weighs 16 kg in total weight, demanding Assembly tasks requiring extreme precision and a sensitive, yet powerful touch to show. It is amazingly close to the sequences of the movement of the human arm. By force-controlled surface after the operator can manually guide the robot to different positions in the workspace while control and teaching the LWR with the very simple user interface.

In a demonstration cell designed and delivered by official KUKA system Partner automated movement Robotics, Inc. will be a KR 100 PA in the innovative and small footprint P3 palletizing cube be used. The P3 palletizing cube is an economic, articulating arm-based palletizing solution that comes pre-assembled and covers a very small footprint. Suitable for case, cardboard, bucket and bag palletizing applications, the P3 offers a wide range of possibilities. Featuring a KUKA robot with pick KR100 PA speeds up to 20 picks per minute and payloads of up to 100 kg. The system is customizable with multiple end of arm tooling options, as well as optional slip sheet placement, automatic pallet supply/discharge, and extended height pallet loads. The P3 is KUKA palletizing cube KRC 2 checked and delivers fast switching of multiple products using the operator interface. Dispatch almost completely, that the P3 requires less than 2 hours to set up. The base frame and small footprint are the P3 can quickly and easily moved into a production facility. In a small material handling cell, will showcase a KUKA Robotics KR5 sixx using an ATI tool changer dealing with an Apple iPad.

Outside the KUKA Robotics booth # 360 Show KUKA robots on the automate Word will be demonstrating a KUKA KR 150.SafeHandling, a hand led collaborative application, also with robot KUKA.SafeOperation with safety appreciated soft axis, space limit, speed monitoring and motioned stop in the RIA Robot standards booth # 1160. KUKA KR 100-2PA will be featured in the SAS booth # 919.

The partner network of KUKA Robotics system is designed to mutually benefit each organization's users by extending the way customers tailor-made solutions with the large competitive and technological advantage of high precision KUKA robots can acquire. The KUKA Robotics system partner network includes experienced OEM machine builders, system providers, application specialists and expert robot integrators.
